So how did Father's Day go for you guys? ...'Cause mine was LAME... Instead of happily spending my Sunday chatting on dA with my schmexilicious girlfriend, I had to wake up at 9:30 AM (after I went to bed at 6:00 AM XD) and get dragged around the city with my dad...

Okay, so first of all, he decided it would be entertaining to drive all the way out to FOUNTAIN HILLS (which is like 15 minutes north of Phoenix, out in the desert) and throw a Frisbee around at a park... Which was a horrible idea because it was 112^oF (44.44^oC) outside!!! I literally felt like I was going to pass out, I've had a nasty headache for half the day because of it, and I serously thought I was going to collapse from lack of sleep...

I FREAKING HATE ARIZONAAAA!!

Oh, and not to mention that instead of going straight home nad getting out of the sweltering heat, he decides to stop at a Bass Pro Shops store and wander around for an hour... And THEN drag me to a Wal-Mart for another hour... And he didn't even BUY ANYTHING!

So in other words: MY DAD IS EVIL

OMG IT'S A COUPLES CONTEST!

Wow, it's finally happened! After 8 awesome months on dA, I've finally decided to HOLD A CONTEST! And I can thank my Libbie for the wonderful idea for the theme!

Okay, the official theme for my first contest will be "Couples"! Yep, that's right -- the idea of my contest is to draw two wolves, whether they be my fursona Fyrien with Aurora, YOUR fursona and his/her mate, or an entirely different couple! Here's a few rules that you should know before entering:


_{There can only be 2 characters, and at least ONE must be a wolf...
Any dA wolf couple is fine -- it can be my characters, your characters, or even someone else's!
You can only make up a character solely for this contest if you're drawing YOUR fursona and he/she doesn't have a mate -- YOU CANNOT DRAW TWO TOTALLY RANDOM CHARACTERS, they either have to belong to you or someone else...
I'll accept photomanips, etc., but you cannot use anyone else's lineart -- it must either be your own artwork and coloring, or a stock image used with the artist's permission...

It doesn't matter how you draw the two wolves -- they could be cuddling, kissing, staring at each other with love in their eyes... But I will be grading on how accurately the drawing represents the theme... Your art skillz very likely won't be taken into account though, just to make it fair for everyone.

Oh, and if you draw someone else's characters, that would make lovely giftart, wouldn't it? I would actually recommend drawing a really popular artist's characters, like the great *WildSpiritWolf -- it never hurts to draw someone like that fanart, AND it could double as a contest entry!


Okay, the offical ending date for the contest is Thursday, August 7... Saturday, October 4. Sorry, but THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS... My sophomore year in school (10th grade xD) will be starting up on August 11, and I won't have the time to manage/judge it once summer has ended...

So sorry, if it's not finished by then, it's not gonna be accepted...
